Your Mission:
Receive a name and daven for that person on Purim
Here are some examples how:
1. Write the name on a post it note
so you’ll have it in mind during your tefillos on Purim.
2. Use your mission as a motivation
to set aside time to daven a tefillah on Purim.
3. Add something
to your tefillah for this person’s zechus.
4. Say Tehillim
or daven in your own words for the person.

Why was The Davening Mission™ created?
The idea arose from a real challenge.
As we know כל המתפלל על חבירו הוא נענה תחילה. And so a few months ago a friend advised me to daven for somebody else, but I wondered how to find someone to daven for?
The solution?
A modern, anonymous system where you can connect with others with the same need. But as Esther Wein pointed out to me, “We are not children and God is not a gumball machine.” So let’s dig deeper.
What are the benefits?
When we share a need with someone, we deeply connect to their struggle and can devote ourselves to their cause, even without knowing them personally. This creates a unique bond that transcends our own needs and allows us to view our prayers and desires in a new light.
What's more:
Davening for another person can in fact help us detach from the need ever so slightly and allow us to create a new relationship to the way we think about it. There is so much more. But I’ll allow you to discover it yourself!
How to engage with this mission?
Life is full of stuff to do so do yourself a favour and engage with this mission however much or however little you like. If you treat this as an all or nothing experience, you may just miss a fantastic opportunity.
